There are so many people to thank for making this project possible. It’s really hard to know where to begin. I guess I should start at the beginning. I’d like to thank my dad for drawing out a chord chart on a piece of paper and showing me where to put my fingers on my first Silver Tone guitar, my great Aunt Billie (and you are a great one!) and Aunt Norma for showing me what it means to truly love music, all my other family members who listened and sang at all those family gatherings as I was growing up, all the bars, restaurants, lounges, pubs, hotels, honky-tonks and where else I’ve worked for giving me the opportunity to keep chasing my dream, Paul Kays for convincing me to go to Nashville, Michael Graham for producing this record and helping find the right emotion for each of these songs, all the musicians and singers, David Lindgren for being a great co-writer (you have the gift!), Rene Stanley for donating all of the photography, Tami Fredriksz for the great layout, all of my family members, friends and acquaintances who supported me throughout the years who are no longer alive to see this dream come true, everyone who financially helped me make this idea a reality, all of you who continue to support me and my music, and finally to Joy who convinced me people would help if we just stepped out in faith. She was right! Thank you! I hope you enjoy “From Both Sides of My Heart”! --John
